hello world,

I'm finding user views in my database that begin with a name of ^ followed by the actual string the developer intended to name it.

Why does SQL Server sometimes insert the ^ prefix ?

Thanks, John

SQL Server shouldn't ever insert a ^ before the name of the view. Mabey EM is being hinky with you? Check the sysobjects table and see if the ^ is actually part of the name.

What method did the delelopers use to create the view?

Denny
