Why do i get this error?

DMS-E-SS_SYNTAX, A syntax error was detected near ')'. I am not the report developer, i only publish the reports given to me. Just to verify the reports i opened in Impromptu and i get this error for all the reports. Any suggestions....

394 entries in the Cognos knowledgebase, but none of the with the ... near ')' text. Any other info you can provide, such as the Impromptu version, the database type and version, and the method of connection (i.e. native or ODBC)?

I just re-installed Cognos 7 and now i don'w get that error.
