Why do I get Class Not Found in IE5 but not in AppletViewer?

I have created two simple Hello World applets.

One using the awt package, the other using swing.

Both compile fine, and both work in the applet viewer fine.

But the swing one doesn't work in IE5. I get class not found.

You need to convert you HTMl using the HTML converter available for free download on the java.sun.com website. There are different versions e.g. 1.2, 1.3 depending on what version of java you are using.
