Why do forms become uneditable?

Working with Access, I have created a few forms that allow for data entry. I noticed that in some of the cases that some of the forms do not allow the addition of new records, or the editing of any of the information. This seems to be completely seperate from the properties of Allow Edits, Allow Additions, etc. I observed at one point that the use of a query along with a corresponding table created an uneditable form, but just recently I created a two table form, and that was uneditable as well. What are the conditions that cause Access to lock the form?
Thanks!
Josua

Check your join type of all queries involved in the creation of the form; this is where the problem probably is in most cases. If you can add data to each query or table prior to joining it with another you need to examine how those tables are related to each other.
