I've read an ENS study guide, and its's said that both failed EAPS ring and LAG don't affect the state of VRRP state. My question is why? (I want to strengthen my concept of networking, so any help will be much appreciated).

Thanks & regards

I would have thought they state this because the recovery time for EAPS ot LAG happens so fast that the VRRP process doesn't notice. I suppose you could tune the VRRP timers down so it might notice?
