what can i do to make cmyk colors in CorelDraw look similar to the real thing?
In Illustrator, if you use CMYK color, what you see on the screen is pretty close to what you will see in your printout, or on a process color swatch.
In corel, i know if i want pure RGB colors to turn off color management, but i have found no combination of settings in color management to give me anything close to accurate CMYK colors on the screen. Why is it that Illustrator does it with no tweaking or fooling around, and Corel presents a dizzying array of options, none of which produces the correct result.
Anybody who doesnt know what i mean compare the colors on your screen to a process swatch book. Or if you have access to Illustrator, fill a square with C:100 M:0 Y:25 K:0 in Corel with default color management, then repeat in Illustrator. In Corel you get blue, in Illustrator teal. The colors in Corel are plain wrong and i cant seem to get them to look even close to right.
Am i the only one with this problem? any advice or solutions greatly appreciated.
