Why do access buttons/queries no longer work with a certain form?

I have a database that I have been working on for months - then recently, the buttons (with code behind them, not macros) stopped working, saying it could not find the form basically. Also, the queries that refer to fields in that form no longer work either - when you run it, it asks for the value. The query is entered in correctly, and has worked for months - even after rebuilding it, it will not find any fields in that form. Any ideas?

Never seen that before, perhaps run a Repair on the database, then a compact. I try to Compact large prodction databases often. Better yet, setup a automatic routine via NT task to compact on a shcedule date/time. I am doing that also... Steve Medvid

Have you renamed any of the forms in question? Sounds to me like the buttons and queries can't find the form (by name) for some reason.

Also, as Steve said, it's a good idea to compact the database often. I often set the option for the database to be automatically compacted each time it is closed. You can find that option in TOOLS>OPTIONS>GENERAL. Just check the "Compact on Close" box and you're all set.

Good luck!
