Hi,

I was working on a page and, not knowing exactly what I did, I turn the page gray. The background color still indicates green, yet the page is gray. However, when I view it through a browser it is green (the color it is suppose to be). So why is my working page gray? I went through all the menu items to see if something paculiar was checked, but I didn't find anything at of the ordinary. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Check you're <body> tag, maybe you took out the 'bgcolor' or it's missing...if you're using <script> tags or something like that, make sure that their closed... I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

I looked at the code and it seems to be fine. The page previews like it should, it's just in the Dreamweaver environment that it is gray. It's like stuck in somekind of mode. Anymore suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I had a similar problem and found that &quot;Head Content&quot; under &quot;View&quot; had somehow gotten checked. Unchecking that fixed it.
Good Luck.

Hello danielh68!

The problem is in the BACKGROUD property of BODY tag. Check if the path for background image is right or delete this property if you don't want any background image at all.

Good Luck!
