Why did my fonts all of a sudden get messed up? WIN 98SE

Hi,

I did fool around with IE5 security settings and changed my display driver..

Then all of a sudden my fonts are bad. Some web pages are illegible, and it seems that the fonts have gone awry in other applications as well. I changed to defaults and rechanged the display (TNT2M64) drivers back but the problem remains!

Most fonts are fine, but not all.

You may have changed the text-encoding within the IE, because i did that & it screwed mine up!!
