Why did FCat seam to disapear on SQL Server 2008 Std?

Our company deals with Fulltext indexing on one of our hosted applications and I configured FCat like I was suppose to.

However Upon completion I go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\FTData and all I see is XML Files. Any clues as to why Microsoft had to make this app more complex than before?
