Why can't I open my own database from work at Home?

I built a database using Access 97 at work outside the normal password protected directory. I built-it in my own personnel directory. (note: To use the protected Access 97 at work I had to join a workgroup) Anyway, I have all of the permissions and rights to my small DB, so I copied it to a floppy and tried to open it at home with no luck. Is there anyway I can work on my DB from work at home? Is it something to do with joining a workgroup thats stopping me? How can I undo this?

A couple of thoughts.

First check to ensure that you are using the same version at home as you are at the office, and ensure that your version at home is working. (i.e. try and open one of the sample databases that come with Access)

If this is all working, check to see if the database has any linked tables. If this is the case then you will have to import the tables into the database before you will be able to open it at home.

If these suggestions do not solve the problem. Please reply with a more detailed explanation of the error (including error message).
