Why Can't I Create An .MDE?

I have a database that is listed as a .mdb. I tried to click on tools, database utilities, and then make .mde and it says; "Unable to create .mde". Any thoughts? When I create a brand new database it creates perfectly.

Is there more to the error message? Have you compiled all the code in your mdb? At what point do you get this message? =============

Hi there

Without any other info I've got a suggestion based on exp.

1. Compile all the code
2. Compress & repair (A2K)
3. then try .mde

if that doesnt work, try renaming the project in the code window to something else then try again.
