Why aren't the buttons I'm making in PageMill working?

I'm new to PageMill, so bear with me...<br>

In creating buttons from gif images, I'm running into the problem of not having the links work even though they seem to be entered correctly (according to the extremely non-helpful PageMill book I have right now). I know the links work because if I have a simple link that's just highlighted text it works fine. So why are the buttons nonfunctional? Help!
