I have a report that uses grouping and in most circumstance the page numbering correctly reflects the grouping. However when I include subreports the page numbering can go astray. On investigation I found that when the subreport just happens to begin at the top of a new page it resets the page number to 1 of 1. If the subreport happens to begin lower down the page the numbering is unaffected. There is just one subreport of about six that this does not happen with. I have scoured the settings can but not find any differences. Any idea what is going on?

Why are subreports reseting page numbers?

If the page numbers are only displayed from within the main report, they should be fine, are you trying to display them in the subreport?
What version of Crystal? Where are the subreports?
