Why are messages removed off OWA once read?

It was just brought to my attention by one of my end-users that when he reads his messages using OWA, they are removed off the 'inbox' once read.

OWA is not keeping/showing all messages - It only shows messages pending to be read.

How do I fix this?

Next to "Inbox" above the reading pane is something in parenthesis and an arrow. By default it's "Messages \/", but your user probably changed it to "unread messages"
