ok, here is my problem:
i have converted a word document into a pdf using acrobat 6 professional, i inserted the form fields and submit button.
now when the form is filled out in reader 6.0.1 and i hit the submit button i get the following error:
cannot handle content type: text/html; charset=utf-8

any insight would be greatly appreciated!

that appears to be correct.
but i have a book here that claims that you should be able to submit with reader or full version...
i am able to submit this form with acrobat 4.0, 6.0 standard and professional, but not with any version of reader.

o.k. I finally figured out the problem!

i have to open the pdf inside of a web browser and not just in the reader. as soon as i open the pdf in the browser it submits from the veiwer or the full versions.
