Why am i getting error ''Too many interfaces on subnet 10.180.12.0" ?

I''m trying setup a 1751 as a hub router with point to point serial subinterfaces for about 7 remote frame relay sites. The remote sites are on the 10.180.12.0 network but after adding 6 and then trying to add the ip address to the 7 sub-interface IOS gives me the error '' Too many interfaces on subnet 10.180.12.0''. Have i hit a limit of the image of IOS i''m using or is this a hardware limit. IOS 12.2(4)T Flash " C1700.bmr2y.mz.122-4.T.bm

Post your config, sounds like a subnetting issue, or you need to do the command of ip classless...

posting your config will help us more.
