Occasionally when building projects in VC++ 6.0 I'm getting an error C1083 saying that the file cannot be written to as it is being used by another process. I've experimented and this happens even if VC++ 6.0 is the only thing running after a reboot. Rebooting the system seems to clear the problem temporarily, but I've had to switch off precompiled headers in all my projects which is a pain in the ass.

Grant Salvona
Senior Software Engineer
Ceon Corporation

gsalvona@ceon.co.uk
<A HREF=" TARGET="_new">
