Why am I getting 4 viruses a minute? 1

Hello,

I'm a newbie and getting overwhelmed by viruses lately. Sometimes I'll get 4 (some are duplicates) within a few minutes of each other whether any programs are open or not. I now have over 50 viruses in my Norton Quarantine folder.

I'm running Windows 2000 with Comcast cable internet.

Does this sound familiar?

Any suggestions?
