Hi,

I need a way to detect who use a file (.DBF,.EXE,...) or a list of files or all files in a path on the network-share. If anyone knows of a way, please advise. Thank you.

You need to use windows scripting or API and have administrator rights. I haven't looked to much further than that as I don't have admin rights in my environment.

You might want to keyword search forum713 and take a look at this forum's FAQ area for the scripting FAQs.
