who to associate an extention with an executable ?

I want (like with win$) , when i click on some file -exemple with netscape or other- to automatically open it with a programme which i installed, i know i can do it with MIME ... but no idea.

create a link and put the path in it. In linux extensions don't have so much role as in Windows. John Fill
