In NT there was a tool that would let you know who had a particular file in use - this was handy to track down sharing violations and open files. There does not seem to be a similar tool in win2k? How can I find out who is using files in win2k?

Thanks in advance...

Right click on the My Computer icon and select Manage.

Under System Tools there is a section for Shared Folders and within that there are sections for shares, sessions and open files.

Hope this helps.
