who is the local phone company in Calgary Alberta?

I need to order lines for a new office and I cannot find a phone company to talk to. Shaw Communications came up and they could provide a PRI but they are going to run fiber into our suite to do it and charge accordingly. Another is Telus. They dont even have a phone number to call. You have to submit a request for a sales person to call you!

Is there a local phone company there that I could get a few POTS lines from? I don't have time anymore to wait for a PRI install.

It's been a while, but have you tried Bell Canada or Telus ?

Thanks for the response. Bell CA isn't out there. The Bell that is does not do land lines. I am waiting for a call from a Telus sales person based on an online request. They does not put any phone numbers to call on their web page.

Press 1 for English then,
press 4 for Landline inquiries

That number is for their mobility department but has that menu choice you can use to redirect you over to the landline side of the company.

I'm not exactly sure why Telus insists on promoting the stupid form to get a call back. They often never call you back or when they do it's a week later. If you really want to get someone to call you back you would be better off finding them on Twitter than using their own website.

But, yes Telus is the traditional provider of phone service in Calgary but it's a deregulated market so there are other competitors you can call including Shaw.
