We Have server which we use as our sql database server. I have Prof monitor running on it and it Tcp Keeps spiking up to 100 percent for a brief period of time ( which kicks people off our internal intranet that calls data from that server). I am wondering if there is a tool that can tell me where that tcp is going. Which user/machine is making it spike.

Any help would be greatly apreciated

ethereal is a good packet sniffer which will allow you to examine all the traffic on the network - by examining the packet you should be able to examine the nature and origin of the connection.
