I've been told that it's not possible to tell which party disconnected the call. Is there any way of telling if the call was disconnected from outside the PBX vs an agent or one of our IVR's hanging up?

try an entc x x x x 0100 on the tn in qusetion, of monitor the dchannel.. not sure about the trac but the dch will show the tear down request and you can see if it;s msgo or msgi

only two ways i can think of is the entc command in 60 or if the call is on a dch, enl msgo/i on the d. if these are analog lines to an ivr, then a butt can answer that question. with a monitor most of the time when a remote user hangsup on the ivr the ivr is still holding the line and repeating the last prompt
