I have burned a CD and it goes well.....but on my PC!
If i show it on another PC where QT is not installed, the videos cannot be seen. I have read that QT is essential. Is it true? But i have a CD (made by someone else) that goes well on any PC. And i'm sure it imports videos with QT, cause they are MPEG and there's the controller too.
So, what's going wrong?
Thanks

Let me clarify if i got ur problem correctly, u used qt movies in ur presentation now u cant play the movies on computers that does not have qt? I had a similar situation but in my case I chose to use avi instead of qt. Although it would appear that using qt is much more convenient than avi since u can manipulate the qt better with lingo the problem with using qt is that it requires the system on which u intend to play ur presentation to have qt installed. Since it would be hard to determine the system on which ur presentation would play you should at least include a link that will allow your client to download it from the net or u may ask quicktime for a license or permission to include their installer in your cd.

have found a bug when making CD projectors on PCs with quicktimes ... If the movies are not in the same directory as the calling movie, they will not work. This only appears on CD on a pc, took ages to find.

You don't need the QTs in the same folder, just set up your search paths so it knows where to look for the files.
