Hi,

I tried to install qmake through this:

yum install qt-devel

The installation process seems successful. However, when I try to find where qmake is, "which qmake" didn't find it. Also, when I do "./configure" in one application that uses qmake, it says no qmake either.

Can someone help?

cd /; find -iname qmake

This will find it for you. If installed, it must not be in your path.

You might also use 'locate qmake', but it'll want to update a database of folders/files...

Ok, I found that. It is not under /usr/bin but under /usr/lib/qt-3.3. So I export the installation directory for qmake. The "qmake" error gone but another error occurs:

Failure to read QMAKESPEC conf file /usr/local/share/qt/mkspecs/freebsd-g++/qmake.conf.

I've already link the installation directory to /usr/local/share/qt. What else did I do wrong?

Thanks,
