Hello All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to see who dialled in and checked a message. Or can you tell, which DN was used?

I.E., have servaral operators responsible for accessing messages out of a common mailbox. Each operator has his/her own DN. If Joe Smoe (X3212) dialled in and checked messages on tuesday, will the system have a history logged of showing this?

No but look at a product they call Meridian Mail Reporter not sure what all it gives you.

mail or call pilot?

You can with callpilot. If the user called from outside and you have caller ID, you will see the CLID of the caller who logged in. You also have a audit trail of all users who left a message for call ansering.

MerMail does not have this option, I think. I haven't work on a Mermail in years.

actually if you have pri lines coming into your pbx, you can go into tools, run a mbox audit and it will show you what number dialed into the mailbox and performed what function.

I used to check this all the time for people that said, "I didn't get that message."
