i am fairly new to director. and the only thing that i cant seem to fix is that whenever i publish my movie and the html version plays, there are white outlines on my image cast members. when i play it back in director itself, the images are fine. ive tried almost everythin i think. does anyone have a solution

if you mean "outlines" like i think you do, when you create images in say photoshop and import them into director, they'll tend to have this whitish fuzz around them that you can't always see when you're in director (especially if the background is white). try turning off antialiasing when you create the images, or saving them as something like png's instead. they'll give you much cleaner lines around your images.
