Up to last week, I've been using Outlook 2003. A colleague and I exchange emails with silly hidden messages like the following.
Hidden message
It is basically formed of a message in a white font. All you need to do is highlight it and you can see the message. With Outlook 2010, this no longer works. He's still on 2003 and I can't see his messages except by copying the whole lot and pasting it in notepad.

Any idea what setting I can use in Outlook 2010 so that I can see the white on white message by selecting it?

I found that it is a problem with highlighting in Office 2010. In Office 2003, the highlight is in the inverse colour. So if your text is white, it highlights in black. If it is black, it highlights in white. In Office 2010, it highlights in the same colour but using a different coloured highlight. So black stays black and the background colour stays the background colour.

So type the message to him in Outlook, but before you send it, highlight the text and change the Font to Webdings, Windings, or Symbol :)

Or just copy the image of the text as a picture, paste it into Paint, Rotate - Flip vertical or Horizontal and send it to him. :)

Have fun.
