White Ink

I have a Lexmark Z611 and I want to know where I would put in the white ink cartride if I bought one. Whether it goes in the color side or the black side. Any help is appreciated.

Probably the black side but at anyrate I am sure it will only fit one side.

there are 3 cartridges that work with this printer

16 - black

26 - color
27 - moderate use color

if its 26 or 27 it would go in the color side

White Ink??? lol, you can't be serious. What would be the point? I could see perhaps a specialty purpose printer for black or dark colored paper, but one that has a swappable cartridge. I don't believe you! all the specs for the printer say it uses colored ink.

On this subject(ish) can people stop calling them Black and White printers! They are monochrome or Black only.....

(I used to work in the print trade, so can get touchy at times)...lol
