White Illy eps items don't appear in final eps from ID 1

A customer's logo (text converted to outlines, filled white) eps when placed on a black background in ID CS2 prints, but when the ad is exported, the white elements don't appear.

Ideas?

In your illustrator file,

Highlight all the white objects.

Window>Attributes

Turn off Overprint Fill

If you want to see what your document will look like in InDesign,

View>Overprint Preview

Thanks - that's the ticket. Someone had used my black version to make a reverse. Yea!

Well if you can't get something to appear on output then always check your overprint previews to find the problem
