While updating a record, that record gets deleted.

I have an application written in VB5 and Access 97, NT machines. I look for invalid SKUs and ask users to key in information for new SKU. When the information is entered into the window. The new SKU is updated in the SKU table but it fails in the transaction table for some reason and gets deleted from the transaction table.

I use to get the MS Datababase engine stopped .. error.

It is happening only on some machines.

What could be the reason?
