Hi !
Im trying to install Autodesk 3D Studio Max 8 at home, when im done installing and it updates something in the registery i get a error message and everything uninstalls.
The error:
Error 1402 Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SoftwareClasses\Transmittal- Transmittalnfo.16\CLSID.
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key,
or contact your support personnel.
And i got the error while the install program was doing this :
Writing system registry values...
Key: \Software\Classes\Transmittal.Transmittalnfo.16\CLSID
Name:
Value: {3FCEB42C-9B98-486a-BED4-FD4F,ADB4060}
Time Remainging: 3 Minutes.
What can i do to fix this problem ? I read some other threads with the error 1402 but i couldnt understand what they did to fix it. Somehow give 3dstudio access to that register?
