Fellow Geeks,

I need to upgrade my video card. What is the best GeForce4 video card out there to get? I've used Hercules products for a long time. I've been told their Technical Support is bad but I've never needed it with their products. I noticed they went ATI on me though. I have had lots of problems with ATI cards. Is there any suggestions on who I should turn to now? I'd like to go with the Ti series and having the TV connector on the card is also nice.

I know someone out there knows their video cards. If you do please share your wisdom wise one:)

I don't know first hand, but I've read quite a few reviews. A lot of it depends on how much you expect to get bundled with the card. Hercules as you know is notorious for including the most when it comes to software/games (but they have yet to release a GeForce4 Ti card). Leadtek and Visiontek have come a long way the past few years. Both usually come cheaper due to tighter bundles (less software). Visiontek has won many awards in various mags.

I think most if not all GeForce4 Ti's come with an Svideo out. Here are my 2 recommendations:

For a loaded package - Asustek
For just the "goods" - Visiontek

Cool! Thanks cdogg

Does anyone else have any input?

I bought the PNY Ti 4600 and it's .. well, quite awesome. I was overdue for a vid upgrade with a TNT2/Ultra and this blew me away. I was looking for price instead of extras.

This one comes with S-Video, regular VGA, and digital out.
