Which versionof MDAC_TYP.EXE do I have ?

Hi -

The VB 6 P & D wizard distributes mdac_typ.exe for one of my apps.

The mdac_typ.exe in ....\VisualStudio\VB98\WizardsPDWizard is being distributed.

The size is 6341 KB creation date 3/18/1999

How can I find out which version it is... 2.0,2.1 or 2.5 ?

MS offers a utility that will analyze the MDAC installation on the specified PC. Jon Hawkins

I just execute the mdac_typ.exe file. You will see the version in the titlebar as soon as the program starts to run. You can then cancel out of the installation.
