Which version of websphere I am runnig?

Often times, My administrator installs WebSphere Portal for us, and there are instances in which I need to know the version of WebSphere Portal I am running. How can I find the version information without using the console?

You can check using

#pkginfo |grep -i websphere (solaris)
#lslpp -L|grep -i websphere (aix)
#rpm -qa|grep -i websphere (linux)
