Which version of FoxPro (PC) is compatible with FoxPro 3.0(Macintosh)

I need some advice on which version of FoxPro for the PC I should obtain in order to be compatible with FoxPro 3.0 for the Macintosh. <br>

I plan to use FoxPro as a front-end to SQL Server 7.0. My clients are mainly Macintosh users and some PC users. <br>

Visual FoxPro version 3.0 is available on the Macintosh platform. My question is, do I need to get hold of version 3.0 of FoxPro on the PC platform in order to be able to implement solutions without modifications on either platform? <br>

Even in VFP 3.0 you would have to worry about some platform stipulations (most notably in some of the reports, at least I had issues with 'WINDOWS' being stored in the platform field and giving some problems when adding or removing fields subsequently.)
