Which Vans do you use?

Circuit City is dropping Sterling as a VAN and will no longer accept data form them. They have closed their testing for AS2 for now so we can't go there. We need to find a VAN and establish a mailbox on one of the preferred VANs. Circuit will accept the following: AS2 via our EDI mailbox on GXS, Softshare, Inovis, Easylink,ICC.net, NuBridges, SPS Commerce, or DirectEDIAS2 via GXS Intelligent Webforms (IWF)
The only mailbox we have currently is on Sterling.

Any ideas on how to do this quick and painlessly. The deadline date
is March 1.

Why can't Sterling interconnect to GXS, or any of the other Vans?

you should be able to set up an interconnect via sterling to anyother van. just open a support case and tell them the isa id and qualifier for yout tp and the van that the data needs to go to and come from.
they usually set it up in less than a day.

I think she's asking which of those VANs that Circuit City is telling her to use, is the best... ?

If she sets up an interconnect to one of those VANs, I'm betting Circuit City won't pay for the data, so she'll be paying twice. Once for the data on Sterling, and then once on the VAN they send it to.

We always have had a multiple-VAN solution to avoid this exact situation.

I had been contacted by ICC.net a year or two ago, and they had a pretty rates. There were no monthly fees, and the rate was something like $.04/kc. The only reason we didn't use them is that none of our trading partners did.

I agree that if you connect to any of the other VANs you will can connect to Circuit city. But there are other ways to connect with out paying double c/k costs.
