yeah guys just wondering what type of ups should i buy, i got server with 25 clients. i have all my documents redirected to the server, also i have an access database on the server and the users will be inputing deleting and updating entries. so it's fairly important that the server remain up for just amount of time to shut down. Thanks, PAUL

set goals for the UPS:

1) most power problems are flickers, you may only want 5 minutes of protection

2) how long will it take you to get to work if the whole town blacks out? you may need that many minutes of protection

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

if they are flickers than i would like a page or an email to be sent to me. i think 10-15 minutes of back-up power would be good. since i'm consulting i'll have a supervisor shut down the server as soon as it goes out. Thanks, PAUL
