Which technology - ASP/JSP/Open Source

Dear all,

I’m carrying out research for my dissertation. I’m trying to determine whether IT managers choose a web technology based on technical reasons (eg. scalability, security), cost or political/philosophical reasons (e.g. anti-Microsoft feeling, support of open source)

I would like to hear the developers’ perspective as well and would greatly appreciate it if you could just take one minute and respond to the 6 questions below.

Not sure my answer was what you are looking for, but IMHO a cross between all of them is likely to be the future, with new Open Source standards meeting proprietary standards, and all interoperating.
