Which table is the "left" table? 1

Hi,

Which table in a pair of tables is the left table? Is there a way to force another table to be the left table? Does it have to do with which table is selected first?

The 'left' table is the table that you link 'from'.
The 'right' table is the table that you line 'to'.
If you wish to reverse this, right click on the join and select "Reverse Link".
If you click the "Auto Arrange" button, the tables will be displayed from left to right in their linking order.
