Hi All,
As an SNMP noobie I am looking for an SNMP manager to run on a Win2003 Server (SBS2003 actually), to receive a trap from an AKCP sensorProbe2 (SNMP Ver.1) and run a batch file. Intention being if a Critical (as opposed to just a warning) trap is triggered by over-temperature to shut down the server.
Now if there happens to be a suitable open-source solution I would prefer to support the open-source community by using it. Otherwise paying for one is not a problem.
I have downloaded Net-SNMP but find it to be a bewieldering array of command line utilities with very little help available.
Your opinions would be welcomed.
Thanks,
Nick
