Hello,

One of our SCCS servers loses the voice connection to the call pilot server that plays IVR treatments for it's scripts periodically and so far we have not determined the exact cause, and the only way that we have been able to restore the connection is to reboot the SCCS server. I would think that there is a service or process that I could restart instead. Does anyone know which one it is?

VSM is the service; however, there are other things that could cause this. Is your switch having any problems, an INI could cause this situation also; basically if the Symposium, Call Pilot and switch get out of sync, this situation can happen.

When I loose my connection to Call Pilot (does happen a couple times a year), I stop the VSM Service (if it's not already stopped) and I stop the MAS Link Port Handler. Restart them both and......
That should do it.

...or just restart VSM. That restarts MAS Link Port Handler all nicely synchronized.

Have you checked the Event Log for errors to try to pin down what might be causing this?
