From an earlier question (Best NT scheduling/scripting tools), several sources suggested the following choices. Anyone have pro's or con's with any of these or a better suggestion?

SCHEDULING:
AT
WINATNT Schedule Services.

SCRIPTING:
.bat fles
kixtart
perl
rexx
tcl
python
WSH and Visual Basic scripting edition
WSH and Java Script.

The NT batch language is much more powerful than the old DOS commands, however the syntax can get hairy. The upside is that scripts are completely protable to any NT computer. Any other language will require the appropriate translateor to be running on the target system.

The NT scheduler if fine for most tasks, but a bit limited. If you want more power check out Opalis Robot.
