Hello_Our network is a simple class C with no separate subnets. We wish to create a separate subnet for development purposes comprising of two or three development servers and approx twenty development clients.I know we would need to install a router so that the new subnet can 'see' the rest of the network so can anyone advise us on what router would serve our purposes? We currently use fast Ethernet and do not want to compromise any speed for the sake of a few quid.
Many thanks everyone,
Steve...

If u dont look for the money and the connection must be reliable, trusfull, get a Nortel Passport 4000 series with modular ports. Its a multilayer switch
