Which product/service of HPOV to use??

Hi All,

I have an intranet application running on a server and have 1200 users or so. I'm trying to monitor, log the error that is caused by this application. I'm planning on using HP Openview. I looked into openview site and saw a bunch of products/services. Any idea which product/service that would help my requirement.

Just one server?
OVO (OpenView Operations) could be a cannon to kill your ant problem.

Does it run on Unix or Windows NT/2000? If Win NT/2000, you could try OpenView Express Suite (Managex + NNM Bundle).

WTO (Web transaction Observer) could take care of your web application performance over your intranet.

Also, NNM (Network Node Manager)and Openview Performance could add value to this solution.

I'll agree with rkodama here, if you've just got the one server to manage then HPOV is probably a bit much. Mike

I thankyou both for the information.

The application runs on NT and has just 1 NT server and IIS. I see HP Openview is too much for this. But, we may in the near future integarte several applications to Openview.
