which port using SLC (Storagetek library console ) application ?

First I'm connecting switch when I authenticated admin user of sun sl500 then following error.

"error occured while communicating with library. ".

Next I connected cross cable when I logged in SLC.
maybe I think our switch blocked SLC application using port? Is it true?
which port using SLC (Storagetek library console ) application ?

I referred switch. I used cross cable when I connected okay. Then I will connect straight cable via switch. Then our application displayed this error "error occured while communicating with library. ". I check connection and 'admin' user authenticated.

I never connected via switch.. but rather direct into RLC...
