which pop-before-smtp is easiest/best?

anyone implement this with postfix? which implementation did you use and why?
I"m running a small server with dns, mail, web, pop3, all on one machine for me and my friends a few domains, and I'd like to let them send mail from outlook express or whatever as opposed to just the squirelmail.
