Good Evening to All,

My question is which platform would you consider best for GroupWise 7 with Intellisync mobile server, and Why?

The two platforms to consider are Netware 6.5, and Windows 2003 server.

Thank you for your response.

Netware for stability and ease of administration.
W2K3 for random lockups and endless patch cycles.

I believe that Intellisync requires a Windows server for that component. BUt that can be done independent of what you're doing with the rest of GroupWise. I have put GroupWise on Windows 2003 before but it's a pain in the butt. NetWare is by far better. Use Windows only for copmonents that can't run on NetWare, like the Intellisync.

Also, if you choose Windows 2003 for everything, I would NOT stack everythign on on box. Just like any other application run on windows, you pretty much want one app per server due to Windows stability issues.
